The study focused on working within some of the limitations of the 5-axis waterjet fabrication tool. The first exercise examines the angular cut limitation of the waterjet by navigating through a single curvilinear path with steep and contrast angles. Each line denotes the movement of the 5-axis waterjet cut path. The denser the lines smoother the cuts are. The second exercise concentrates on multiple curvilinear cuts in a piece to form a volume. All of the cut pieces are embedded together to constitute a system.
